HOW IT WORKS

Unsupported Bundles feed into Used High Level Unsupported Bundle Palletizers at a height slightly above that of a finished pallet. Used High Level Unsupported Bundle Palletizers position finished bundles of product on a pallet placing them in a predetermined format which configures bundle layers. Each time a layer is completed the entire load is lowered to a position that allows the next layer to be generated. Between each layer a slip sheet is normally inserted. Unsupported bundles may require a more delicate handling system than a palletizer configured for bundled trays or cases. Each layer of bundles alternate formats (every other layer), so that they interlock the multiple layers in order to generate a stable finished pallet. After all layers are placed to complete a pallet, it is discharged using pallet conveyor normally to the infeed of an automatic pallet wrapper. High level palletizers are normally utilized in conjunction with high speed packaging lines.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATION

Used High Level Unsupported Bundle Palletizers are utilized in production lines with higher speed requirements and may save conveyor footprint space as bundles can be elevated and conveyed overhead long before the infeed of the palletizer. However, in almost all scenarios relatively complex platforms are utilized.
