Tube Fillers and Sealers

Tube Fillers and Sealers come in a vast variety of types and speeds. They can produce plastic and metal tubes at speeds from a manual operated machine at 15 tubes per minute up to 400+ tubes a minute with a multilane servo driven fully automatic machine. This type of packaging lends its function to the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, adhesive and sealant industries. These machines incorporate different types of filling assemblies’ dependant on the product to be filled. The sealing side is focused on heat sealing the plastic tubes and crimping the metal ones in various fold preferences.

The basic function of the machine is to feed a tube, either metal or plastic, with bottom up into a container handling system. This could be a rotary indexing table or an inline conveying system and index those parts under the filling mechanism and then in to the sealing assembly. The typical size change parts are centered around the handling end of the machine. Some adjustments are needed in the filling and sealing portion of the operation.
