Jacketed Tanks

Jacketed Tanks, much like the insulated tanks, have multiple skins of material. The function of the layers or skins is to create a cavity for process fluids to flow and contact the surface of the product cavity to increase, maintain or decrease temperature. They come in many variations such as conventional jacketed tanks, single wall jacketed tanks, double-wall jacketed tanks, dimple jacketed tanks, and closed head jacketed tanks depending on process requirements.
