HOW IT WORKS

Used Inverter / Reverter Tunnel Bottle Rinsers are very similar to their rail type counterpart. These rinsers consist of an enclosed tunnel where, for explanation purposes, many plastic plates with the containers profile are compressed together to form a tunnel. Each plates bottle profile very gradually rotates to generate a solid plastic tunnel where containers are gradually rotated and controlled. While the containers are inverted the air or water rinse function is performed. The dwell of this rinse function is determined by the length of tunnel during which the container is inverted. A plastic tunnel is required for each bottle profile to be used, and these plastic assemblies change out similar to any bottle handling change part.

*These tunnel type systems can be employed as head space sterilizers. Once they invert the container a dwell time to sterilize head space can be determined by the length of the inverted area vs. linear speed.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATION

Conversely, the expense and bulk of the container specific solid plastic change part somewhat limits them to low to mid speed operation.
