HOW IT WORKS

Products feed into the head conveyor of Used Continuous Motion Case Packers, at which time bottles are separated into lanes to match the pattern of the case. Round products are crowd fed into these lanes, while non-round products require a laner that automatically single files containers into each infeed lane. Once the products are dispersed evenly across the lanes and enough containers are present in each lane, and a sufficient backlog of cases is present, the machine will commence and pause operation as needed. Continuous motion case packers synchronize the flow of cases and the flow of containers through what is called a "packing module". Each module is customized to continuously feed established case patterns down into the cases using flight bars and in some cases star wheels. As the synchronized cases flow below the module, the continuous motion case packer module places each established pattern into its corresponding case.

COMMERICAL APPLICATION

Used Continuous Motion Case Packers are a much higher speed alternative to a drop case packer as products and cases both flow continuously through the continuous motion case packer. Packing modules are designed to be interchangeable and each product and pack pattern generally require a specific module. Continuous motion case packers are generally used in the beverage and food industries.
