Orbital Air Bottle Rinsers, such as those manufactured by McBrady engineering, provide an economical means for automatically cleansing the interior of bottles & containers. Orbital air rinsers are generally implemented on mid-range speed lines, and utilize ionized air. The orbital carousel straddles the conveyor, and inverts the containers as they travel around the carousel in a pocket.
In the case of the McBrady orbital air rinser, air cleaning is performed through a direct tube, injected inside each container or vial. Multiple revolutions and a duplex rotor can address complex cleaning requirements and vial washing capabilities. Different models offer speed ranges from 40 to 300 bpm and can handle cans, bottles, jars and a wide variety of plastic, glass, metal, and/or composite containers.
Generally speaking, the construction, design, and operational requirements of orbital rinsers do not vary greatly. The carousel diameter simply increases, along with the number of pockets, as desired speed increases. Types of Containers that can be utilized in these systems vary greatly: Plastic Bottles, Glass Bottles, Glass Jars, Plastic Jars, etc. Speed demands in the industries that utilize these systems range from 60 containers per minute to speeds in the range of 300 containers per minute.
At any given time, BPDM typically has a variety of orbital cleaners & rinsers in its used, rebuilt and/or reconditioned inventory. We can also furnish new equipment or produce a system incorporating custom design features. Please contact us with your requirements if you would like to discuss your applications.
