Berks Plant Design & Maintenance, Inc. has been in the business of automating packaging and process systems for over 20 years. Our approach has always been to focus on our customers' requirements and preferences, then assist in implementation and integration of the machinery for optimal efficiency, always bearing in mind our customers' budgets. We utilize the latest technology, including Autocad and Mechanical desktop.

Integrated systems supplied by BPDM have varied over the years from hand feed and repack 30 container per minute lines with no flow control, to fully automated 350 container per minute lines with overflow accumulation, backlog sensing, and PLC control. Our goal is to layout and design the system to minimize downtime and maximize production given the combination of equipment.

No matter how small scale the system may be, you can rest assured that we will tackle it with as much enthusiasm as the large scale, complex systems we also provide. We welcome as much customer feedback as possible throughout the entire process in order to ensure that customer receives exactly what they envision.

If you have an existing system to upgrade and/or relocate, we will utilize your existing layout or produce one for you. Even when supplying a single piece of equipment, our goal is to make the retrofit of your existing production system as seamless as possible.

Installation of our large scale systems is regularly performed by outside contractors, either supplied by BPDM or customer specified. We pledge to assist these installers long after the machinery has left our facility.
